Cancel service

The generic cancel for a hotel service in a booking. It takes a cancellation type, PROVIDER or MANUAL, and optional manual fees.

PUT/booking/{bookingReference}/{serviceType}/{serviceId}/cancel

Treat it like Cancel: never retry automatically

This call changes the booking and may act at the supplier. After a timeout, read the booking with Get booking before you try again. For a hotel you booked through this API, the per-accommodation Cancel is the better documented route.

Before you call it

  • Call Service cancellation fee with the same path values. It returns the fee and supportedCancellationTypes[]. We recommend sending only a type listed there. Unverified
  • Get the guest's consent to the fee, as with Cancel.
  • Verify serviceId in your test account. It is not documented that it equals hotelservice[].id. Unverified

After it

  • Read the trip with Get booking. The hotel service should show status: CANCELED, with cancelationDate (sic), providerCancellationDate and cancellationType set.
  • The guest's money is a separate step. See Refund.

Errors

The spec documents no error schema and no status codes. Treat any non-2xx response as a failure and keep the raw body and the trace id. Spec A 404 means the reference doesn't exist (in this microsite). Verified

This endpoint belongs to the generic Booking API. An API user enabled only for the hotel booking flow gets 401 with User … not allowed to access here. A new token won't help: ask your Nava account manager to enable it. Tested

List bookings

List the bookings of one microsite by creation date, with optional filters on departure, update and cancellation dates, a reference and the user. Returns each booking's reference, status and creation date, so read the details with Get booking.

Service cancellation fee

The generic cancellation fee for a hotel service in a booking. Besides the fee, it returns the cancellation types the service supports and any related service with its own fee.
