Service cancellation fee

The generic cancellation fee for a hotel service in a booking. Besides the fee, it returns the cancellation types the service supports and any related service with its own fee.

Call it before Cancel service

Use the same path values as Cancel service. The response tells you what cancelling costs and which cancellationType values the service accepts.

Behaviour

Treat it as a quote, like the per-accommodation Cancellation fee. We expect it to return today's fee and change nothing on the booking, but that is only documented for the per-accommodation endpoint. Unverified
Send Cancel service only a cancellationType listed in supportedCancellationTypes[]. Unverified
If relatedService is present, show its fee too before the guest decides. Unverified

The spec documents no error schema and no status codes. Treat any non-2xx response as a failure and keep the raw body and the trace id. Spec A 404 means the reference doesn't exist (in this microsite). Verified

This endpoint belongs to the generic Booking API. An API user enabled only for the hotel booking flow gets 401 with User … not allowed to access here. A new token won't help: ask your Nava account manager to enable it. Tested
